Our Senior U16 Girls play in the U16 Saturday morning inter-Club competition at Waikaraka Park.

Girls in their final year of U16s or in the Auckland Development squads are invited to play Premier Reserve T20 Cricket on Saturday afternoons following U16 T20 morning games pre-Christmas.

Under 16 Girls’ Hardball (Y10-12 / U16 as at 1 April 2024)

U16 Girls teams play in a Saturday morning inter-Club competition against other clubs from across Auckland.
- Girls new to cricket are able to join this grade
- Teams are 9 aside
- Matches are T20 (20 overs)
- A hard cricket ball is used, protective equipment is worn (Bats, gloves, pads and helmets are provided via our PCC team gear bags at Trainings and on Game Day),
- Trainings are run by our Women & Girls Pro-Coaches supported by our Game Day Coaches, 6-7.30pm at Martyn Wilson Field,
- Games are on Saturdays, 9.30-12pm, usually at Waikaraka Park on grass pitches

Uniforms

Parnell playing shirts available from Players Sports are worn by girls playing in the U16 morning competition

Parnell Youth Girls Playing Shirt is provided for the girls who are invited to play Senior Women's afternoon cricket in addition to U16 morning cricket

Parnell Cap and black trousers can be purchased from Players Sports

Training Kit

U16 Girls playing who also play Senior Cricket are required to purchase our Training /Warm-Up kit including shirts and shorts

Our Director of Women & Girls Cricket together with our Senior Girls and Women’s coaches maintain visibility of player load to ensure the ongoing safety of our players
