Congratulations to Marina Lamplough who scored her first century for Spencer at the weekend in the Women’s 1XI!

Marina scored 132* in the team’s 180 run victory against Bishop’s Stortford.

Marina achieved the total in 93 balls hitting 19 fours and 1 six.

Runs also came from Yasmin Daswani and Charlotte Smith who both made 28 as the 1XI posted a total of 326.

Tamara Reeves took 3-27 from 9 overs whilst there were two wickets each for Mya Ketan (2-17), Olivia Evans (2-18) and Laura Bailey (2-22).

Our Women’s 2XI had a loss against Richmond despite good performances from Jayna Patel who scored 36* and 28 from Alice Stroud. We made 131-5 but Maia Lough took our only wicket as we lost by 9.
